Operation Christmas Child

Last week the activities-coordinator at our school invited some people to a secret meeting. About 30ish people showed up, and we were all invited to do this project called “the shoebox appeal” (also called “Operation Christmas Child”) arranged by Samaritans Purse UK .I personally had never heard about this, but i think it is a great thing to do, and I feel honoured that i got to be a part of it.

The shoebox appeal is basically  about sending Christmas gifts to children that will not get gifts otherwise. We filled 19 boxes with stuffed animals, pencils, colouring books and fun stuff. Its all about making children happy!
